Sprinkles

"A" and I spent the morning just running some errands and doing some "spring" cleaning.  It felt good to get some thing done that we had been neglecting.  Our lease is up at the end of June so hopefully we can start really looking for a new place this week and find just the perfect new home!  Unfortunately this also means packing.  I HATE packing.  I hate that going through junk and making decisions about what to keep and what to toss.  Mainly, I hate negotiating with "A" about what to keep!  I am a purger and he's a hoarder!!  (OK, that may be a little extreme, but we definitely do have different ideas about the concept).

My lil sis, Ninny, went to Dallas yesterday with some friends and she brought "A" and I some Sprin.kles Cupcakes.  OH MY!  They are were fantastic.  We had the black and white, marshmallow cream and the Salty Caramel.  I was most excited about the Salty Caramel and it did NOT disappoint!

Last night we had a get together with our Sunday School class and we had a really great time.  It is always so nice when people ask about Ella Grace.  I know talk about it makes some people uncomfortable, but the ladies in my SS class are amazing.  They talked with me and asked questions and we were able to have a very frank and open conversation.  It was awesome!!  I am so thankful for our SS class and for the relationships that God is allowing to develop as a result.

Tonight we have plans to have dinner with some friends.  I am excited.  She is a friend (and baby loss mommy), but "A" has never met her hubby.  I think they are really going to get along great...of course, "A" gets along with most people!  I am going to make a fruit pizza for tonight.  It's my Dad's favorite dessert that I make and I will probably be making another one for Father's Day!

We are not going to get a chance to go to Ella Grace's spot this weekend and for the first time I feel okay about it.  I don't feel a pressing "need" to be as close to her spot.  I guess that's a good thing.  I feel like she's close even if I am not sitting by her spot.  I do hate to think of her spot not having pretty, new flowers, but I may try and come up with a pretty summer bouquet of silk flowers for the next time we visit.  Then I won't feel like I have to go just to take flowers.  I can go just when I feel like I need to for me.

Well I am off to roll out the dough for the fruit pizza!  I hope everyone has as blessed of a weekend as I am having!  I am praying for all of the people whose blogs I follow and also everyone who reads my blog often!!

I hope you have fun tonight Britt!

I thought of you earlier this week. I had a business trip out of town and on my way to the site I passed by an avenue named "Ella" and it made me think of you each time. So every time I passed it, I said a little prayer for your little Ella Grace.

Sweetest Britt,

Ella Grace's "spot" is on your heart and you carry her with you always. I think the silk bouquet will be beautiful and as you say "you can visit at will".

How wonderful that you have such an amazing support group of friends who you can love Ella Grace with so openly, as that is such a blessing. Being surrounded by Love and Compassion is healing on so many levels.

Do enjoy that fruit pizza and I know that you and A will have a wonderful evening with your new friends.

Continuing to Lift You Up sweet girl...

xoxo
Andrea
