New plan

I am starting a new "fitness" plan today!  I need to lose this "Ella Grace" weight and then some!  So, I found a cool website (SparkPeople) that I am going to try!  It works a lot like Weight Watchers, which is a fantastic program that I have used and I know it works, but this is...FREE!!!  You get to enter your meals and your fitness and it helps you set goals.  So far, I really like the website!

I feel like it's time to turn over this next step and am really ready to start getting healthy again.  I even worked out a little tonight.  Not a whole not, I don't want to send my poor body into shock, but I did walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes and did some strength exercises that SparkPeople recommended.  It felt great!

Of course, I have to confess that I also made Monkey Bread tonight!!  I used this recipe from The Pioneer Woman.  In my defense, not that I need one, but I am supposed to bring breakfast for our Sunday school class this week.  I decided that I really wanted to make Monkey Bread, but I have never made it before and I am really hesitant about taking a recipe for other people to try if I have never made it before.  I like to have time to perfect it before other people try it!!  So, we had to have  a dry run!  I only had a small piece and I plan to take the rest of it to work tomorrow!   Even with the monkey bread I really didn't go over my daily goals by very much AND the monkey bread recipe totally gets the thumbs up!!

So, I am off to watch SYTYCD!!  I am loving Pascha!!

OKay ~ I am totally checking out this website. After two years of stress eating from a relocation, move and then loosing AMelia ~ well, lets just say that I don't like where I am right now. Plus, feeling unhealthy is a real motivator. I too used to do weight watchers, but with hubby unemployed, that is not happening! I have begun working out again, but really need to be more accountable to what I put in my body. For example, I am off sugar, but in my twisted mind, potato chips are okay...um NOT!

I really need to get on the exercise bandwagon as well. I just can't seem to get motivated to do it. I'm going to checkout this website. Thanks!

Oh, I LOOOOOVE SparkPeople. It really makes me feel accomplished to see I have racked up 1,000 minutes of working out in some period or other. I hope you have as much fun with it as I have!
