And now, For Something Completely Random...

I am a little a lot all over the place this morning!  I am up too early (before 8 am!) and my coffee is still brewing so I haven't had a cup yet, but I am so anxious about my appointment this afternoon at SIRM that I gave up on going back to sleep!  Not to mention that my sweet little dog woke up as wired as I am this morning...this is what I woke up to this morning!

He was ready to play!!  How can you say no to that sweet face?  He was chasing his tail and running around...must be something in the air!!

A couple of nights  ago "A" and I went to Target (btw, I LOVE that place) just to look around and spend some time together.  I guess it was kind of a date night?!  But I always feel like every night is date night since it's just the two of us...anyway...and I found some really cute "gelly" window clings.  They spelled out "Happy Halloween" and I wanted to put them on our window that faces the "courtyard."  I was so excited  until I got home and realized that they were only sticky on one side and that they wouldn't work.  At first I was really bummed and then I decided to just put them on a big, black mirror that is in our living room.  WARNING:  I took this picture and there are TERRIBLE streaks in the the picture, but you can't see them in real life...but I am NOT taking the clings off and cleaning the mirror just for a picture!  Sorry folks!
While we were at Target I searched for a "grey" fingernail polish...I wanted one that wasn't metallic.  I don't know where I come up with these things, but once they get in my head...they ain't coming out!  I am pretty sure I drug sweet "A" around to look at EVER bottle of polish in Target, but couldn't find the right color...then  yesterday at Walmart I found THE perfect color...for $1.50!  I love it and can't wait to paint my nails!!!

I also got a wallet while I was at Target.  I had been using 3 different contraptions to hold all my junk that I thought was necessary and I was sick of searching.  So I went from all of these....

To this...

All of my stuff fits and I love it!  YAY!!!

Last night "A" was looking through some old books I had in a box that needs to go to our storage room and came across this: Don'ts for Husbands and Don'ts for Wives.  The book is really fun and I thought I would leave you with a few jewels for the weekend!

  • Husbands, don't keep all your best jokes for men friends.  Let your wife share them.
  • Wives, don't keep the house so tidy that your husband is afraid to leave a newspaper lying about.  Few men have such a sense of order as most women have, and they are naturally more careless at home than at the office.  But what does it matter when you really come to think of it?
  • Husbands, don't forget that actions speak louder than words.  It's no use telling your wife how much you care for her if you do the very things that you know will make her unhappy.
  • Wives, don't cease to be lovers because you are married.  There is no need for the honeymoon to come to an end while you live!
Happy Weekend!

Forever Her Mommy,

Today is going to be a good day honey. SIRM is where your new chapter will begin...one where you get answers and you will be in the absolute BEST, most capable hands.

I will pray that God comforts your anxious heart.

Much Love
xoxo

I've been looking for grey nail polish for months, and Target keeps failing me. You've motivated me to check out Walmart. :)
