- Dr. N got in touch with me and let me know that she had talked to a "high risk specialist" and that he thought we should re-evaluate our protocol for when we get pregnant. According to him, because I have a history of loss (specifically a late term loss) and have both copies of the MTHFR mutation he recommends that we start Lovenox injections as soon as we get a positive pregnancy test and of course increase folic acid (probably just continue with the NeevoDHA prenatal). I felt relieved that they are looking further into the MTHFR and are taking it a little more seriously.
- I got the call Friday, before I left to go to Dallas for the appointment with the RE, that I got the job I interviewed for back in August. I am REALLY excited! I am now an admissions recruiter! My new boss wants me to start ASAP!
- I met with Dr. S at the Sher Institute on Friday and I LOVED him. He was very encouraging and really left me feeling positive. He told me (more than once) that he could get us a baby! The main testing he wanted to do was a hysteroscopy, check hormone levels, check the Natural Killer antibody and check my ovarian reserve. All of it was very overwhelming, but very exciting...as I was looking at my schedule and thinking about starting the new job (which I had originally planned to start today, Monday) I decided that it would be best to push my start date to Tuesday and try and get ALL of my testing done on Monday.
- Today I got up at 4:45 am and went BACK to Dallas to have the hysteroscopy and blood work done and tomorrow I start my new job!! I am worn out and SO nervous! (BTW, the hystersocopy was normal and everything looked good...actually, Dr. S said I had a "perfect uterus"...not sure exactly how to respond to that compliment!!)
On a MUCH better note! Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the day that I married my best friend and the love of my life!!! I love you, "A" and am so thankful that God saw fit to allow me to marry you! You have been my rock this year and I can't imagine going through this life with anyone else! I adore and cherish you!
Forever Her Mommy,
